THE BEAUTY OF CHRIST AT THE 4TH CBCUSA WOMEN TRAINING
By God's guidance, the CBCUSA women training [June 30-July 2, 2017] was successfully held at Chin Bethel Church [CBC], one of the CBCUSA member churches in Washington Metropolitan Area [the capital of the USA]. About 800 - 1000 including 640 Chin women from other states and local CBCUSA members participated in it. We are very thankful to the Chin Bethel Church for their warm hospitality, all CBCUSA women leaders, teachers/Instructors, and all participants. Our special thanks go to Ruthie, daughter of Dr. Robert & Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, the last American Baptist missionary couple to the Chins who left Burma [Myanmar] in 1966. Ruthie still fluently speaks Hakha Chin language since she was grown in Hakha, the current capital of Chin State.
The Chin women are so beautiful with their traditional dress. The beauty of Christ is seen in their hearts. We praise God that His Kingdom comes to the Chin Baptist Churches in the USA through the CBCUSA women. May God continue to abundantly bless them for the extension of His Kingdom on earth and for the growth of the CBCUSA family for Christ.
Dr. C Duh Kam
General Secretary, CBCUSA
