SINCERE REQUEST FOR PRAYERS AND HELP 

FOR 

THE CHINS IN HAKHA, THE CAPITAL OF CHIN STATE
IN MYANMAR.

Heavy rains causes landslides in Hakha, Chin State.
Houses and roads are damaged.  Many families become homeless 
and are in need of prayers and help.
Since the highway road from Hakha to Falam and Hakha to Gangaw 
are damaged, transportation is not available and many Chins are 
lack of food and daily need. All families in this town face shortage of food.  

This heavy rains cause flooding in the Kalay Valley in Sagaing Division.
Many houses are swept. Many families become homeless.


Hakha, Capital of Chin State,
is built at the foot of Rung Mountain. 
The very heavy rains from the top of the hill cause serious flooding 
and landslides, devastating roads in the town and the main roads from Hakha 
to the town of Falam and Gangaw.  Rain is still falling.  
The damages would become very serious than thought.
No transportation is currently possible, 
therefore, there is shortage of food and daily need in this town. 
Other villages in Chin State are damaged.

Very heavy rains causes landslides and flooding from the top of Rung mountain. 
Houses and roads are damaged. Church buildings and health Centers are damaged.
Many families become homeless.  Thousands of the China are facing serious shortage of food. No transportation is possible for main roads are damaged.

Landslides triggered by torrential rains in Chin State, Myanmar swept houses in Hakha, the capital of Chin State.  

Prayers and help are sincerely requested.

















This newly built Hakha Khuahlun Baptist Church is empty now.  
Its foundation is broken and damaged by the landslides caused 
by torrential rains from the hill top.  
138 families near this church left their homes and moved 
to Hakha Khuathar [East Side of Hakha]. 
They become homeless.

Heavy rains have also caused 
flooding and fatalities across Kalay Valley in Sagaing Division 
in Myanmar where many Chins live with Burmese people.
